A couple of days late (better late than never), but that doesn't mean that I like the show any less.
Each episode of "The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom" on TLC follows a different mother as she abandons a life normally guided by her children’s schedule to instead focus on career goals she previously gave up on.
For example, the first episode I saw featured a mother of two following her dream as a fashion designer.
Maybe the term soccer mom is offensive to some (and no, I don't have children), but I think it's great that these moms are getting a chance to explore what life would have been like had they not put their dreams on hold for their children and families.
